Step 1: <\/b>Heat the milk in a saucepan until almost boiling and stir in dates. Let soak for a few hours, refrigerated. For best flavour, refrigerate dates and milk overnight.<\/p>\n

Step 2: <\/b>Preheat the oven till 350 degrees F or 175 degrees C. Grease a medium loaf pan.<\/p>\n

Step 3: <\/b>Transfer milk and dates to a food processor, add brown sugar, and process into a smooth paste. Nicely mix in vegetable oil and vanilla extract with a few pulses.<\/p>\n

Step 4: <\/b>Nicely whisk flour, baking soda, and cinnamon in a bowl until thoroughly combined. Pulse flour mixture, approximately 1\/4 cup at a time, into the date paste until batter is smooth; do not overmix. Stir walnuts into the batter with a fork and transfer to the prepared loaf pan.<\/p>\n

Step 5:<\/b> Bake in the preheated oven till the time a toothpick inserted into the middle of the cake comes out clean, about 40 minutes.<\/p>\n
