Houseplants have a quiet way of becoming part of the family. You water them, admire every new leaf and probably move them around the room until they find their favourite sunny corner. So, when those glossy green leaves suddenly develop brown patches, white fuzz or an unexplained yellow tint, it is natural to wonder what went wrong.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The good news is that most houseplant diseases<\/strong> give you warning signs before causing serious damage. Once you know what to look for, you can catch the problem early and give your plant a much better chance of bouncing back.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Here are some of the most common problems every indoor plant parent should know about.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

1. Root Rot<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Root rot is one of the sneakiest plant diseases<\/strong> because the real trouble happens below the soil. It is commonly linked to excess moisture and poor drainage, which create conditions where harmful fungi and other pathogens can thrive.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
