What you need:

  • milk 1/2 litre
  • 8 grams of china grass strands
  • sugar 250 grams
  • one cup of water
  • grated cashew, almonds, and pistachios for garnish.
  • edible silver leaf for decoration

Method:

Cut the china grass strands in small pieces and soak in warm water for five minutes to soften it.

Boil the milk in a pan

Squeeze the china grass pieces to remove excess water and add it to the boiling milk. Stir continuously. Simmer until it forms a thick paste.

Add sugar and stir till the sugar dissolves.

Pour the mix into a greased pan or in moulds.

Garnish with dry fruits and silver leaf.

Let it sit at room temperature.

Cut into diamond shapes and serve.

What you need:

  • 1 kg of ladoo of your choice
  • khoya or mawa (400 grams)
  • chopped dry fruits
  • cardamom powder 1/4 tablespoon
  • cashew nuts 15 nos.
  • Ghee two tablespoons

Method:

Grate the khoya and fry it in ghee on a deficient heat for a few minutes.

Cool and mix sugar and dry fruits. Keep it aside.

Crumble the laddoos thoroughly and divide the crumble into two parts.

Spread a layer of crumbled laddoo then add a layer of khoya. Then repeat this process.

Press the spread lightly and let it sit at room temperature.

Cut in heart and star shapes and decorate with cashew nuts.

3. Out-of-this-world strawberry brownies

  • 2 cups thick caramel sauce

Method:

In a bowl mix everything together in a consistent paste.

Transfer the mixture into a medium-sized serving dish and spread in an even layer.

Pour the caramel sauce over the cream cheese and flatten using a spoon or a spatula.

Sprinkle evenly with toffee bits. Serve with apple slices.
