Ingredients

1.5 cups whole wheat flour atta

1.5 teaspoon baking powder

1/2 teaspoon baking soda

1/2 teaspoon cinnamon powder

1/2 cup oil 120 ml

1/2 cup plain yoghurt

1 cup powdered jaggery

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1/2 cup + 2 tablespoons milk

1/2 cup chopped walnuts

• Start by preheating the oven to 350 F degrees. Meanwhile, prepare an 8 x 4-inch loaf pan and then set it aside.

• Take a bowl and sift powdered jaggery so that there are no lumps clustered together in the cake batter. Set it aside.

• Take another mixing bowl and sift whole wheat flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon powder and a pinch of salt together. Then again, set aside.

• In a stand mixer, add oil, yoghurt, jaggery powder and vanilla powder. Now beat all the ingredients together until everything is well combined.

• Now add half of the flour mixture and keep stirring it.

• Then add some milk and mix again. Follow the same process with the other half of the flour mixture again. If the batter looks too thick, then feel free to add some milk to achieve a perfect cakey consistency.

• Add chopped walnuts to this batter now.
