Often known as the "living fossil," dates back to the time of the dinosaurs! It's part of an ancient plant family that once covered much of the southern hemisphere about 200 million years ago.
Light Requirements: Araucaria plants thrive in bright, indirect light. Avoid direct sunlight, as it can scorch the leaves.
Watering Schedule: Water the Araucaria when the top inch of soil feels dry. Ensure the pot has drainage holes to prevent waterlogging.
Temperature and Humidity: These plants prefer a cooler temperature range, typically between 60-70Â°F (15-21Â°C). They also enjoy high humidity.
